Event Details

Join Girls in Tech as it hosts Stacy Grant, First Vice President of Investments at Merill Lynch as she presents an interactive workshop on "weathering the storm" on December 18, 2008.

During this massive economic crisis that the US is experiencing, some of us are too proud to admit that we might need a little financial advice. If you're an entrepreneur it's depressing to see all of the money that you've carefully invested decrease in value week-by-week, 20%, 30%, even 40%! People over 50 no longer have the comfort of a substantial retirement fund and women in particular have special concerns - nearly 75% of the elderly poor are women.

Learn what you can do to keep your money safe. Come on December 18th for your checklist on surviving the financial crisis! Refreshments will start at 6:30pm.

The meeting place is at Slide, 430 Mason Street in San Francisco.
